Zidane vs Materazzi

In the 2006 World Cup Final Italy was battling France and at the end of regulation the game was tied. During the extra time occured one of the most memorable sports moments (due to its shocking nature). Zidane was one of the most respected soccer players in the world. It was his last World Cup and would end his brilliant career, but in the 110th minute of the World Cup Final Zidane and Materazzi had exchanged words with each other and as Zidane had started to walk away Materazzi said something to him that caused Zidance to turn around and headbutt Materazzi square in the chest flooring the Italian to the grass. He was given a red card and removed from the game leaving France a man short on the field (Italy went on to win the game in penalty kicks). The big question that everyone had was what had Materazzi said to Zidance to provoke the headbutt. The media brought in professional lip readers to try to answer this question. Appearantly Materazzi was tugging at Zidane's shirt during the match. Zidane had gotten fed up and told Materazzi "if you want my shirt so much you can have it after the match" to which Materazzi replied "I'd prefer your sister instead". When asked Zidane said that Materazzi was talking about his mother and sister. Materazzi denied saying anything about Zidane's mother, but did admit to making comments about his sister, but said his comments did not warrant an attack. One rumor was that Materazzi called Zidane a 'dirty terrorist', a claim that Materazzi denied.
