Third times a charm… After Tito Ortiz defeated a fighter from Ken Shamrock’s training camp he put on a mocking t-shirt and threw a few middle fingers towards the corner that Shamrock was in. Shamrock became furious and the feud was on. They fought in November 2002 and Ortiz won by TKO in the third round. The feud quieted down until 2005 when it was announced that Ortiz and Shamrock would be the two coaches on the third season of the tv show The Ultimate Fighter. During the show they frequently traded insults with each other and viewers could see the tension building. This led to fight #2 between them in July of 2006. Ortiz won this fight also by TKO, this time in the first round. A few months later in October the pair would have their third and final fight. Ortiz won for a third time, by TKO in the first round after which he put on a t-shirt that said “Punishing Him Into Retirement”.
