Em has a thing for the benz?
An extension of Eminem's bitter feud with hip hop magazine, “The
Source”, this feud demonstrated Eminem's great skills as
a “beef artist”. The feud initially originated from
Eminem's supposed comments about The Source's bias towards relatively
unknown artist Benzino and their constantly positive reviews of
his albums. Many found this unsuprising as it was widely reported
that Benzino had “strong personal connections” with
the aforementioned magazine. This resulted in many calls for boycott
of the magazine and the eventual resignation of Benzino from “The
Source”. Despite various attempts by Benzino to hit back
at Eminem lyrically, many magazines claimed his lack of talent
and music ability ensured this was a one sided matchup.
