The Battle for Number 1? One
of 2002s major feud found rap star Nelly on the wrong side of
hip hop legend, KRS ONE. The feud between the two began over a
“Number 1” song recorded by Nelly for the oscar winning
film “Training day”. KRS took offence as he had recorded
a similar titled song back in 1988 and it was claimed he considered
this a disrespect from Nelly. It was also reported that KRS considered
Nelly an influence in the deterioration of hip hop culture and
even called for Nelly's album to be boycotted in one of his songs. |
