The legendary Barry was supposed to appear
on ‘The View’ to perform and promote his new CD. But
the day before he was supposed to go on, it was reported that
Barry decided not to appear because he opposed Elisabeth’s
political views, which he thought were “dangerous.”
This was weird, since Barry performed with Elisabeth on the show
at least two times before. Sources seemed to think that Barry
pulled the plug on the show because he was friends with Rosie
O’Donnell. Rosie had famously fallen out with Elisabeth
over her political views. Then one of the producers of the show
said that they were the ones to tell Barry to forget about coming
on because he demanded that Elisabeth not be there. The producer
said, “We don’t do that,” adding, “he’s
not going to call the shots.” |
