Tommy and Kid Rock began publicly
feuding during Rock’s divorce to Pamela Anderson, whom Tommy
was also married to. Rock says that Tommy started sending him
text messages calling him a “b****”. In Tommy’s
version, it was Rock who started it by sending him e-mails saying
that he was going to kick his you know what. Then when both Tommy
and Kid Rock were in Las Vegas for New Years Eve, it was reported
that a drunk Rock had two of his cronies knock down Tommy’s
hotel room door, but they ended up getting the wrong room. But
things got really nasty when these two had a scuffle at the VMA’s.
Of course, they had different versions of what happened. Kid Rock’s
version was that Tommy was antagonizing him, throwing insults.
That’s when he went over and back-handed him across the
face and got in another punch before security came and pulled
them apart. In Tommy’s version, he said that he was minding
his own business talking to friends when Rock came up to him.
He said he tried to give him a hug when Rock hit him. Whose version
