Two friends turned rivals... a common theme in today's world of rap superstars. 50 Cent was on the radio at Hot 97 when he announced that he was kicking his protege, The Game, out of G-Unit. This was the result of disloyalty when The Game refused to take 50's side against other rappers that 50 had a beef with. The game had gone on Hot 97 previously and said that he wasn't going to turn on his friends Nas and Jadakiss, and that 50's beef was 50's beef. The Game's crew heard 50 on the radio and rolled up on Hot 97 and gunfire was exchanged with 50's crew. One of The Game's crew was shot (non-fatal).
