Paris and Nicole had been best
friends since they were in diapers. They did everything together,
even starring in The Simple Life. The show made them stars. By
the end of the second season, Paris and Nicole were noticeably
not hanging out with each other. Then finally Paris told the media
“It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer
friends. Nicole knows what she did, and that’s all I’m
ever going to say about it.” When asked, Nicole said “There’s
nothing that really happened, we’ve just grown apart.”
A rumor that was going around was that Nicole was jealous that
Paris was more popular. Another was that Nicole got so jealous
that Paris was hosting Saturday Night Live that she held a party
and showed Paris’s sex tape. Whatever the reason, it was
enough for Paris to ask producers to kick Nicole off the show
and hire her friend Kimberly Stewart as her new sidekick. They
told her no. Paris and Nicole ended up filming their third season
separately. They later made up and went back to being best friends,
though it's anyone's guess how long that will last... |
