Tim first cast Sean as Vicki
Vale in Batman. But she had to drop out when she got injured from
a horse. When the sequel Batman Returns needed a Catwoman, Sean
saw that role for her. When she got turned down for the role,
Sean got mad. She made it her mission to prove to Tim she was
the right choice. During the movie’s preproduction, Sean
and some of her people stormed the studio, armed with walkie-talkies
and scouting producers and the director. Sean was dressed in a
Catwoman costume, and was ready to convince anyone who doubted
her. To avoid being seen, Tim hid behind his desk until they left.
Not giving up, Sean went on Joan Rivers’ talk show, dressed
in her Catwoman costume. She talked about how she was the only
woman who could be Catwoman, and looked at the camera and told
Tim that he made a huge mistake and he was going to be sorry.
Tim didn’t back down, as he ended up casting Michelle Pfeiffer
for the role. |
