Dirty Harry hit with spike?
What could two of cinemas best director feud about if not the
one thing they have in common, movies. It is reported the feud
between director, Spike Lee and Dirty Harry star, Eastwood began
over Clint's World War Two directed movies, “Flags of our
fathers” and “Letters from Iwo Jima”. It is
claimed Lee labelled Eastwood racist, referring to the absence
of black soldiers in both films, an accusation which Clint denied.
Clint is then reported to have implied the movie was based on
historical accuracy while also beckoning Lee to go learn more
about the national history. |
