Talk about a smack-down! Jon
always disliked Andy Dick. Things got heated between the two at
the Laugh Factory when Jon demanded an apology from Andy. About
what? A couple years prior a drunk Andy had told Jon “I
put the Phil Hartman hex on you, you’re the next to die”.
Andy was referring to the late Phil Hartman, who was shot and
killed by his wife. Phil and Jon were good friends, and Jon felt
that it was Andy’s fault that Phil’s wife had gone
on a downward spiral after Andy had given her drugs at a Christmas
party. Andy refused to apologize, acting like he didn’t
know what Jon was talking about. Witnesses say Jon grabbed Andy
by the head and smashed it into a bar several times, until blood
started to come out of Andy’s nose. |
