Tom and Brooke were one time
co-stars and friends until Brooke published a memoir and revealed
she had been taking Paxil to help with her postpartum depression.
Tom, whose devoted Scientology doesn't recognize psychiatry, publicly
blasted her for taking the psychiatric drug. Acting like he knew
it all, Tom said that taking vitamins would be more helpful in
helping Brooke and other women suffering from postpartum. Brooke
then stood up for herself and said that Tom should keep his thoughts
to himself about a subject he would never know first hand. Tom
had since apologized and made up with Brooke. |
